- Support in preparing department trade performance analysis, identify opportunities to maximise bestsellers and support the clearance of underperforming stock.
- Proposing pricing (reprices and markdowns), understanding the relationship and importance of pricing in relation to margin, sell-through rates and other key deliverables.
- Assist the Merchandiser in managing the Line Card/Rebuy forecasting process, with a clear understanding of supplier lead times and seasonality, to make decisions which positively drive sales and profitability.
- Support Range Plan forecasting, stock planning, promotional activity and seasonal launches.
- Assists with ad-hoc reporting to inform decision making across Buying & Merch teams.
- Overseeing the critical path process, ensuring timely delivery in line with the department key deliverables.
- Overseeing junior team member development & identifies opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and ways of working.
- Relevant merchandising experience operating at Assistant Merchandiser level & looking to progress into a more senior position.
- Experience using Power BI or similar software to aid reporting is preferable.
- Strong commercial awareness, numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Positive, self-motivated team player with a continuous improvement mindset
